Did you add fuel stabilizer to your tank last fall? If not, your jets may be clogged with "varnish". If it will still start, try draining & replacing the fuel as WD suggested then add some fuel injector cleaner to the tank and run it for a while.
Next time, if you didn't use Sta-Bil and don't want to drain the tank, add the dry-gas and injector cleaner before you fire it up and put up with lousy performance until the old fuel is gone.
